The Heart Behind the Shelves
Hi, I'm Brandi Rowton — and honestly, this library is one of my favorite places on earth. I'm a proud wife to Dalton, mama to four incredible kids (ages 15, 12, 7, and 5), a member of the Delight City Council, and an active part of my church community in Blevins. Life is full and I love every bit of it.
I came to this role with years of experience as a librarian's aide — cataloging, shelving, circulation, you name it — but more than anything, I came with a genuine love for people. I believe a small-town library can be so much more than a place to check out books. It can be a hub, a haven, and a place where everyone from the tiniest toddler to the oldest neighbor feels right at home.
My passion is fostering a love of literacy, creating programs that bring the community together, and making sure every single person who walks through that door feels welcomed and cared for. Whether you need help finding your next favorite book, a quiet place to sit, or just a friendly face — I'm here for it.
